Are Porn Video Movies and Adult Vids the Same?
Anyone who has had some experience with pornography (and nowadays, these means any guy) knows that there are two terms used in the XXX tube industry: Porn and Adult. These two terms are very closely related, but are they really the exact same thing?
The term porn video movies is an old one, and less PC than the modern “adult tubes” term. Porno has some unpleasant reputation and is often considered to be “dirty” and many legal, professional XXX vid sites are reluctant to use it freely. When the sex video industry went “clean” and began following clear regulations, paying taxes and even entering the stock-market, the pornography terms were often replaces by “adult” ones. Instead of saying “hardcore fucking” the websites used “adult entertainment”, and instead of saying: See a video of a guy shoving his big cock in a tight pussy” they said “view this wild adult movie”. As in many other topics, the language became cleaner, but the meaning itself remained exactly the same.
